Our sky is sacred. It’s a witness, silent but present to generations of human and environmental dialogue. It’s both document and guardian. Sky has long captured the collective imagination across the world. It’s in movies, music and collectively our dreams. But for my family and I, sky holds a different meaning.
Our sky is a living archive. It holds ancestral maps, marks time through the seasons, and gently guides the migrations—both of people and of spirit.
Even amid change, the sky continues to nurture. It reminds us of where we’ve come from, and what endures. It humbles us. In the vastness of Country—in its intricate, interwoven systems—we are so small. And yet, deeply connected.
It’s beautiful. It’s vast. It’s resilient.
